Sure he's on the downside. He had 9.5 sacks last season which is a pretty good 'downside'. 1 less than Jones. He has 9 sacks in eight games at the end of the year with the Rams (4 of those in the playoffs). Everyone creamed themselves for Lawson whose best year was 8.5 sacks which was his rookie year and he hasn't had 6 sacks since. If Lawson had that kind of a 'down' season.. we'd be ecstatic. I also doubt the Bills care much what he does during the regular season if he plays the way he did this year for the Rams in the playoffs. Don't let hate for the enemy blind you. The truth is there is no “salary cap hell” and with the way the cap is about to go up in the next couple years it’s so easily manipulated.
