Zach Wilson has less value than a ham sandwich in that deal.

Just the fact that you’d be giving him up would tell the Texans all they need to know. Just for that alone we know this is horsesh*t.

Whatever Zach WIlson is worth, the "supposed" Jets offer is way better than the Browns.  To top it off, they are going to throw in Kareem Hunt?  I mean a team that won't let Watson play certainly wants the guy videotaped brutalizing and kicking" a woman.

we now know this deal was false. but if it were true it wasnt JD, it was Woody/

there is no way a QB as good as Watson with his legal troubles doesn't have the owner heavily involved. in fact i believe if this was true Woody told JD to make this offer.

I can’t actually believe that there is even one person who believes this but, no, we did not make an offer for Watson and will not be making an offer for Watson.

On the plus side, Kirk Cousins will be available for us next year.

God-gifted sex pest>>>>>Garbage thief hillbilly

There is a massive difference between being a perverted “sex pest” who makes lewd comments or things of that nature, and “forcing oral sex on someone and telling everyone that you thought it was consensual” but hey, it’s not my conscience to wrestle with.

Allegedly.

Watson, IIRC, actually came out (might have been through his lawyer) and said that any sexual encounters that he did have, he believed that they were consensual.

Also filed under “allegedly” btw:

We should definitely not sign OJ Simpson. We agree there.

If the Jets "offered 3x 1st's & 1-2x 2nd's & Zach Wilson" for Watson, Watson would be a Jet today.

It's not true (IMO).

We didn't offer it.

Watson wouldn't agree to it.

And the Texans won't get that much for him.

Correct

Here's the Watson situation broken down by teams...

  • Carolina Panthers: owner David Tepper has a hellbent desire to get him and will award Watson arguably the most power of any QB in the NFL, but the team is not in a great place right now and would be very similar to the situation he faced in Houston due to poor roster management/lack of assets. Tepper is probably the best owner in the field, but it will likely come down to Watson's trust in the roster that's been built and plan to surround him with talent going forward.
  • Cleveland Browns: They have the best roster of the teams involved, specifically as it relates to the supporting cast on offense, and a well respected coaching staff/scheme that fits his skill set perfectly. However, Jimmy Haslam has had a chaotic and unpredictable tenure as owner of the Browns, so it really comes down to Watson's trust in ownership.
  • New Orleans Saints: the organization is proven to be the most stable of the bunch, but they also have a mounting credit card bill considering all the cap theatrics over the years. It'll be harder to correct their finances without all the draft picks that would be dealt to Houston as part of the trade. Ownership does not intermingle as much as the Panthers and Browns owners, so really comes down to trust in the GM/HC. Sean Payton's "retirement" couldn't be more poorly timed.

Obviously this is complete horsebleep.

It will be interesting to see what Houston ultimately gets. Whatever high picks should be conditional and I see no way anyone offers the 3 1sts and 2 seconds Houston still says they want. They should certainly get less than Seattle did for Wilson.

You believe those dopes gave Cousins an additional $35 million?   In his career, this JAG who has done essentially nothing, has earned $231.7 million.  What a world.

He's played for flawed teams one of which traded away one of the best WR's in the NFL but yeah keep thinking its all going to be about Kirk Cousins when his teams lose.
