Let's be honest here - Can you realistically blame anyone for being pessimistic about this franchise? The longer you watch the Jets, the more you should not be blamed for being skeptical. I've come to really not like these labels. We all deal with rooting for this franchise in our own way. I don't think we need to give people sh*t for whether they are glass half empty or glass half full types. We all suffer enough as it is. Throw me a bone! I never get too upset by the fans' negativity. Blame the team that has failed to make the playoffs for 11 straight seasons. It is not the fan's fault that we are frustrated. I do get frustrated by the fans who don't seem to want to allow anyone to be optimistic, but it is what it is. After a horrible decade of football, we have a lot of long term, loyal Jet fans who are very frustrated and come here to vent. It will be this way until we start winning again. I like many of the moves made over the last week, but I need to see it on the field, during the regular season to believe that we have finally turned a corner. I started watching football at 18 and I have been a die-hard Jets fan for 34 years. The Kotite era was the most humiliating, Gase's second place for that matter. Witnessed misery, humiliated by opposite fans, etc. But, we should just ease on the gas and let the season begin again. JD is doing a marvelous job with the cap and needs to mimmick 2021's draft sucess. I have been extremely hard on everyone including Becton, Saleh, Douglas, etc. I just think that we should have a more positive attitude towards last year and the present.
