Tyreek Hill on the Block-Jets Involved. This is not a drill

Recommended Posts

Obviously a very talented player who would bring elite speed to the WR spot.

Also a highly suspect person, with a history of beating his partner and his young son - who ended up with a broken arm.

Great talent, not a great person, very high price - it's a no from me.

if Joe does this I will never speak a bad word about him again-it would show he is actually going to follow through and get wilson weapons. I sadly believe Joe will not do it though. He likes guys like Mims and Cole that are highly ineffective. If Hill goes to the dolphins it is just another notch in Joes rather large belt of failures-they fins already have two very good wrs as it is.

come on joe do it just do it sign hill

Jets trade for WR, but i doubt it's this one.

  • Extension for a billion dollars
  • over 25
  • character concerns
  • draft equity he's built would be eaten up

Unlikely. Highly unlikely.

I agree but Schefter saying we are finalists carries some weight.

But on paper, I agree.

most important take away from this to JN and the @OtherwiseHappyinLife camp -- "JETS HAVE EMERGED IN RECENT DAYS

In other words -- Joe is still working the phones for a WR trade.

it's coming. Not Hill (imo) but it's coming.

The quote says the Jets were "approached".

Joe is always gonna take those calls.

He hardly ever makes those calls.

The chiefs have reached the point like belichick did with Brady that they can win with decent wrs, so they sign ju ju.

Chiefs struggled to start last year. Kelce is getting older. Simply replacing a star like Hill with a marginal WR like Juju is not going to help the Chiefs win a division that is now stacked with improved teams.

Just talking about the player and not the person right now.

If Joe Douglas is going to balk at acquiring a superstar player for his young QB, what are we doing at this point? At what point do we try and make the team significantly better? Hill changes the entire offense.

Exactly, f*ck the draft picks, even the best GMs have a 50% hit rate on draft picks. Jets kept a bunch of cap space open so they could sign this type of guy.
