Is anyone just a wee bit concerned that the Jets are about to trade for a player who became grievously disgruntled playing on a Super Bowl contender in a system that was tailor-made specifically to take advantage of his talents?

Umm no? Lol Jets have never had an offensive player as talented as Deebo

This is the major issue that we aren't talking about enough

It's still not clear what the issue was there. I think we need to learn that sooner than later

Jets run the same offense as SF, I’m sure he’ll do fine here

What would be the point?

You give up high picks and dish out a $25-30 million a year contract for Deebo to pair him with a guy like Moore for the next 5 years.

If you’re giving up Moore in the trade, then what significant progress have you made?

You’d be going into next next season with Deebo, Davis, Berrios and a bunch of bottom dweller sh*t behind them. And both Davis and Berrios finished last season on IR.

And 2022 could very well be Davis’ last year as a Jet.

It would be beyond stupid to give up Moore.

I’d rather just tell the 49ers to eat a bag of dicks and take my chances in the draft.

Not endorsing it but it may be necessary if the Jets really want Samuel. Moore is basically the one tradeable asset the Jets have, obviously teams are going to ask about him.

110%

If the trade is more than 10, and a day 2 pick (which I'm not even sold on anyway) you tell SF to kick rocks and draft whoever. Elijah Moore would be even more egregious. He's special.

A massive package? They better not trade more than the 10th pick. Who else is going to offer more?

I think this entire circlejerk of value being floated around is due to the fact that the Niners have more leverage than the other teams that have traded WR's this year. However it's true that likely no one is going to beat 10 straight up.

Hope Douglas keeps his trade swagger and is willing to walk away if the price sucks.

im all for getting deboo.  been refreshing every few minutes the last few days. i dont mind giving up the 10 and a second round pick. i just hope that moore is not involved. like many have said davis is not guaranteed to be here next year and then what? deboo berrios and who? smith? if its deeboo davis moore and berrios along with the tight ends we got in free agency along with carter and maybe a late round rb that is the best offense we have had since 2010

Interesting. You Deebo lovers can hold your breath I’m hearing.

I think most people here would like Deebo, but the amount of people that want to trade more than just the 10 and another late pick are low.

The trade floated of 10 + 35 + 38 makes me squirm, and likely 99% of this board as well.

If the second rounder becomes Denzel mims then it ain't worth jack squat

The picks are awesome in theory. In practice he's not hitting on enough picks to make his build through the draft philosophy work

Hence this "sell the farm for Deebo" stuff

Stop whining, JD had one half assed draft and one very good draft.  We all know if you get compile picks you have to use them to for their maximum return.  This isnt new ground.

No way is JD doing that. I could see 10 and 69 at the absolute max. If Deebo goes for a 1st and 2nd, I'd say the 49ers got a great deal
