The Jets appearance on Hard Knocks was the beginning of the hatred of the Jets by the entire NFL - fans and media - because Ryan was so obnoxious. It fosters and exacerbates positional competition and spotlights weaknesses. It gives the entire league tape on a team before there is tape on any other team. It is bad news. I hope the Jets are never ever on it again. If you want entertainment before the season starts, go to the movies.
