Anyone else burnt out on the draft?

I have been watching analyses videos reading evaluations and reading and responding to posts here since December and I am just weary. At this point everyone's mind is set and there is really now news and any news is likely a smoke screen.

As usual Jets fans are obsessed with edge. We need one but IMO I don't think there is a single one worthy of a Top 10 pick. I think the group is pretty weak and no one is elite. I like the WRs better but they are not elite either.

I think the only elite players in the draft are Neal, Icky, Gardner, and possibly Hamilton. Hutchinson has too high of a bust potential to be elite.

In my view if there is not even a remote consensus on the top players at a position they are not elite. 1 or 2 will likely be elite but it will only be obvious in hindsight.

I am tired of the obsession with drafting defense when we still need to make the offense better and protect Zach yet I see drafts all the time with all 4 of our picks on defense.

I HATE picking at 4. Icky and Gardner are really the only 2 picks I would not hate, and I dont like any of the edge in first 10. I have never wanted to trade down as much as this year. A TON of starters and pro bowlers will be taken from 15-40 and I think more pro bowlers might come from 20-35 than the Top 15.

Everone is in denial but 2 QBs likely go in Top 10.

Walker is the most overhyped player since Gholston.

How in the world does Hutchinson have a high bust potential? He has production and tested very well. Supposed to have a very high work ethic on and off the field

Hutchinson might not be a bust but I see his ceiling comparable to Maxx Crosby and he’s coming on now in the league too

I am burnt out from the Jets season being over by October. In the off-season becomes the only thing of interest.  Our Super Bowl is in April

I'm a big draft fanatic but yes i am getting there.  Moreso this year because the jets finally have massive draft stock and the draft talent stinks.

Yeah I think that is a big part of it. We are not debating Jamarr Chase vs Kyle Pitts we are debating which player is the least painful reach at 4.

End of April is too late for the draft, should at the very least be beginning of April.

For sure, it's been dragging.  The Draft should have been done on April Fool's Day.... which would have been perfect for the Jets.

The one player who might help this Jets team not suck is a cherubic kid from Utah whom everyone knows is bad, even if some people want to live in denial about that fact. The coach is also bad. I absolutely believe that if you stay at 4, you draft to the strength of the class. Take one of these 3, preferably OL.

Then with the rest of the draft, you draft to its depth. WR, EDGE, and LB. This draft has EDGE and LB prospects at every level.

No the draft season is one of the few times of the year where I have any sense of relative hope and optimism for this cursed football club.

Once the games start I get burnt out pretty quickly (Usually by Halloween).

Everyone is just burnt out because the last 15 years of drafts hasn’t exactly built a winner and we are exhausted from this team.

No. I’m looking forward to 1/3 of the board saying we got the next great player and we’re finally on our way, 1/3 of the board saying it was the dumbest pick ever and everyone needs to be fired and the other 1/3 too drunk to make sense.

Yes.  The coverage gets so redundant at this point on the calendar.  The draft really should be two or three weeks earlier.
