That draft class is starting to look like perhaps the worst in Jets history.

What do we have form it?  Hall at CB in the 5th?  And......pretty much nothing else if Becton is a bust now as well.

Woeful class.

If Becton comes in and plays well like he did when he was healthy and Mims contributes enough for a roster spot, this turns into a decent draft at worst. I mean, look, I'm not defending the 2020 draft. It was clearly not good. But we really can't make it seem like the worst in Jets history until we actually see what happens with Becton and Mims. It could end up being 50/50 like a lot of drafts end up. With half of the players you draft washing out and the other half ending up being starters or contributors.

No. 11: OT Mekhi Becton- starter? TBD

No. 59: WR Denzel Mims- contributor? TBD

No. 68: S Ashtyn Davis- contributor/starter

No. 79: DE Jabari Zuniga- bust

No. 120: RB La'Mical Perine- bust

No. 125 QB James Morgan- bust

No. 129: OL Cameron Clark- injured/retired

No: 158: CB Bryce Hall- starter

No: 191: P Brandon Mann- starter

The fact that he's still "rehabbing" isn't saying a whole lot of Duke.

Maybe he should try something else.

Nobody else has said rehabbing but ralph. Duke and becton is the only one that can tell you what he is doing.

I don't want one in the first, tbh. I'd rather edge/wr in the 1st then "reach" for Bernard Raimann with one of our 2nds.

Fant is the LT. You can fill RT with someone already on the roster and/or somewhere in the draft. If you can get a pick for Becton, great. But I'd say the likelihood of him being on the active roster game 1 is about zero.

Oh shut up. It's April, get outta here with that. We get it it's voluntary. Yet everyone else showed up. EVEN MIMS! Stop being so soft and get out there.

McGovern isnt there and so are alot of players around the league skipping the voluntary program.. becton has be transparent about what he has been doing this offseason..  but if you wanna get into rage over nothing have at it.

McGovern’s wife just gave birth, he’ll be there on Monday.

Ooof sorry.

Honestly. It's not a huge deal but it's also silly you can't show up for a week or so to work with your teammates.

There is no way to spin that the guy who looked terrible all last summer and then quickly turned what was initially thought to be a 4-8 week injury into a season ending injury, who has questions about his motivation, durability, and weight - who's job status is in doubt, and is the only offensive lineman on the roster who's wife didn't just have a baby (McGovern, who will attend Monday), that isn't at these workouts with the team, into not a bad thing.

I really don't want the Jets to go OT in the top 10, but today certainly makes that look a bit more likely.

No spin needed. He gonna put up or not Come august.. crying in April is pointless .

  • It was voluntary, but Mekhi could have continued his routine at the Jets Facility.  It should have attended.
  • Yes, there are issues with the Jets Strength, Conditioning and Medical staff, but they are supposed to be better.
  • It would be ironic if the Jets take a Sauce or Stingley after signing Reed, which could basically mean that the most successful draft pick of 2020 goes to part time/bench.
