Text I got was SF wanted 10, one of the 2nds, and a 4th.

As for AJ Brown, I’d have to imagine Tennessee didn’t want to trade to the AFC.

That’s the most reasonable explanation. Only Hill trades within the conference. Still stings. Brown and Moore would’ve been a lot of fun.

AJ Brown is a band aid boy.  He is always injured.  The Jets should want no part of him.   I don't understand your comment.  Why would Douglas be in a shambles?  It's clear teams do not want to pay WRs $25-30 million per.

..except for a bunch of playoff teams who are doing just that?

*This is not necessarily an endorsement of a prospective Jets trade for Brown

Just now, DLJ said:

We need to trade back on for our edge

The thing about these edges is that the guy the jets take could be better than the edges who went early.  Saleh said at the combine that there wasn’t one amazing edge, but it was deep.  And i think they factored that into the draft strategy.

He's missed 6 games in his career. An absolute iron man compared to Deebo Samuel.

One of the best in the game. Gone to the Eagles after Douglas spent the entire offseason chasing his tail going after these f*ckers.

A huge miss. Accept it.

I think what people are underestimating is that no veteran wants to play here

And that's not on Joe Douglas, that's on this franchise being a perennial loser for over a decade now sans 2015

That makes sense.

And, as much as I wanted Deebo, I'm glad JD didn't make that trade.

SF's ask was insane, especially when AJ Brown, arguably a better WR, went for significantly less

Yes, I don't disagree....but it's not how you win.

a GM managing scared isn't good for the team.

Thing is Woody is back and this is a Woody draft.  Woody is in charge and that is clear to me.

Scared?

Getting the best CB and one of the top 2 receivers.

If that's scared, then I hope he stays frightened for the second round.
