Prior to tonight, the highest  the Jets ever drafted an Iowa State player was RB Dwayne Crutchfield in the 3rd round of the 1982 draft

 

DT James Reed, a 7th round pick in 2001, probably was the best Jets draft pick from Iowa State so far
