Pre-Draft Analysis

Clemons has the size and long arms to stack blockers and set the edge. There's room for improvement when it comes to getting off blocks, but he flashes the ability to disengage in time to make the play. He has the length and initial quickness to drive back offensive tackles when rushing the passer. He flashes violent hands initially, but he doesn't counter well when he doesn't win with his first move and stalls out too much. -- Steve Muench

PFF's rating...

Mitchell was the highest-graded tackle in all of college football in 2021. He earned a 94.8 overall grade while playing right tackle for the Ragin' Cajuns after allowing only 13 pressures across 430 pass-blocking snaps.

Career Highlights
Allowed 1 pressures on 47 pass-blocking snaps while playing both LT and RT vs. Texas (2021)
90+ overall grade in five of 13 games (2021)

In the end it's All relative.

Fwiw, they ran the ball a ton.  A ton. 500 attempts vs. 236 completions.  So I think some of that had to do with the offense.  A lot of their passing plays were play action, RPO's, moving the pocket, etc.  That said, it seems like they ask a lot of their lineman, so is encouraging nonetheless.

He’s such a dick

I agree with this, although it's ironic.

We complain about all the fanfare and the dragging out of the pick announcements, yet also hate the guy who just gets to the point and tweets it out.
