Wow!

It was Garrett or JJ at 10.

If Atlanta took Garrett the Jets would have went JJ over Drake London.

That’s real info right there.

and then presumably moved up for Breece or maybe another WR.  I think it worked out better this way.

Not sure I'm buying this but I don't really care either way.  Happy with what transpired.

At least the jets were smart enough not to want London, one more feather in their caps.

Think they needed someone to stretch the field.  London will be a fine pro but not going to push that safety back as much.  They want to run the ball and create safe drops to RB;s and TE''s.

We know they were top 8 guys in the board, sounds like they were sandwiched unless Cross was between them. We know Sauce was higher on their board and probably 2 or 3 since they were worried about getting him.

I was wondering if someone who went 11-14 was higher on the board than JJ but doesn’t sound like it if he would’ve been the pick if Wilson wasn’t there. Curious who else was in that top 8. Hutchinson, Walker, and the three tackles maybe? Unless Stingley or Thibodeaux was in there.

They want SPEEEED. Sh*t, Ruckert can do everything London does, and he's bigger and probably faster. ?

You have to cover our TEs now who'll draw coverage to the middle of the field consistently making it easier for the guys on the outside. Plus, our TEs can catch, and block which is a first in a while for the Jets.

They have to respect our running game too.  Now Zach has all the tools to develop.  A solid line, running attack, short field weapons and Wilson and Moore to bring speed to stretch the zones.  When you boil it down, this team will go as far as Zach takes us.  His development is the top priority.  Think Joe D did his job.  Getting a nice linebacker and a run stuffer would be even better, but the team is better.

You can tell Saleh wanted JJ at 10 even if wilson was there.  But he lost that one.

It was great that Joe D found a way to get back in the 1st and get Saleh his guy.

The honest communication btwn coaching staff and personal seems awesome.  You can tell they get pretty heated with each other but at the end of the day, they understand each others thinking and they get over it.

Ive wanted Saleh as coach for years.  And hes even better then what I Imagined.  I really had no clue he is as smart as he is.  Hes like a football rainman disguised as a meathead.

The perfect replacement for Davis as the X receiver is already on the roster....

Denzel Mims (4.38)

IF he finally figure things out,  we're in great shape heading forward....

Sounds like the London LOVE was smoke & mirrors.  And that talk started in Mobile.

That’s awesome.

Connor Hughes ate a lot of crow on a recent podcast.  Says the Jets used him for smokescreens but understands it’s part of the draft.  He understands he has gotten a lot of insider info that was accurate but says the draft is a different game.

Well done Jets.
