I'm always amazed at how some of you know who any of these guys are. I can't figure out if that makes you impressive or the biggest zeros in the face of the earth.

Impressive.

Definitely impressive.

SAVION WILLIAMS DL FLORIDA A&M | NFL DRAFT PROFILE & SCOUTING REPORT
40 TIME: 5.06 SECONDS
HEIGHT: 6-4 WEIGHT: 290
DATE OF BIRTH: 12/08/1998 AGE: 23.4
OVERALL RATING:    71.3 / 100
GAME PERFORMANCE WEIGHTED RATING
TACKLING: 59%
PASS RUSH: 55%
RUN DEFENSE: 67%
DRAFT GRADE: UDFA POSITION RANK: #51
COLLEGE GAMES: 16 COLLEGE SNAPS: 408

Strengths
Average quickness and power and his bull rush will be stonewalled. Comes off the snap high, losing leverage.
Combines strength and footwork to fill holes inside, as well. Recovers from cut blocks or falling on his way to make a tackle.
Tall, solid frame with adequate length and has done a nice job losing the bad weight and firming his body.
Excellent hustle-and-chase tackler. Good closing speed with change of direction to corral mobile quarterbacks.
Rarely goes to the ground, showing good balance from his high school wrestling days.
Weaknesses
Misses tackles, even when he gets his hands on the ballcarrier. Needs to improve hand placement and technique.
Lacks the speed to turn the corner consistently and is too often washed out by stronghanded blockers.
Average athletically with average straight line speed and tight hips. Not a natural bender. Lacks secondary pass-rush moves.
Only average lower-body strength and struggles to anchor at the point of attack. Bit of a defensive end/defensive tackle "tweener" who struggles in traffic with multiple blockers, not always using his limbs effectively to disengage.
Might be limited to one-gap systems. Agility isn't a question but misses tackles when he doesn't square and break down.

nice....looks like a Human Pinball...guy takes a beating and is bouncing off everyone - I especially like the play where he was running down sideline with his Guard and they went out of bound and he got tossed into a tumble.

Wow!! Watching this kid reminds me of Lance Mehl. Can’t ever remember Mehl missing a tackle. Have to bring this kid in just off this Nebraska game alone

So the guy I’ve been following Long Island’s Jack Coen who played for ND and Wisconsin wasn’t drafted but signed with Indy a smart move. They have 3 Qbs on roster, Matt Ryan, Ehlinger and James Morgan. They didn’t draft a Qb today and so far he’s the only UFA Qb they signed. He was a consistent productive Qb with two major programs. He has a chance to make their team at least to make PS.

The Rattlers!  That might be our first Florida A&M guy, even if it is participation only. Cool.

Roger Finnie.  Florida A&M.  Played 38 games for us from 1969 - 72.
