maury77
All 22 film reviews are crucial for evaluating CBs because there is so much you miss on the broadcast angle. Here is a review on Gardner. With cornerbacks you typically see some struggles during their rookie seasons (even Revis didn't really blossom until his third season). Gardner does have to get a little stronger, but I don't think that will be a problem as he is still filling out and will have an NFL strength training program to take advantage of. Gardner also likes to keep his hands on the WR throughout the route, so he may see some PI calls in the beginning of his NFL career until he figures out what the referees will let you get away with. 1
Hal N of Provo
Yeah when you watch his stuff he keeps hands on guys past 5 yards. He’s got some habits to fix but he’s an amazing prospect. It’s crazy to me how well he sticks on WRs. It’s uncanny.
