Sperm Edwards
17 minutes ago, Bowles Movement said: He didnt know for certain before the draft that he d be able to draft Wilson, so it is a little different. I was also making the point that we don't have any confirmation that Douglas yanked the offer off the table once we were on the clock with Wilson there. I'd think part of the offer took that contingency into account -- at least as much from SF's perspective than ours, since we'd have been agreeable to giving up that #10 pick given the high probability that our top guy would've still been there. Wilson was not resoundingly/universally expected to get taken between picks 5-9 in the first place. There's no evidence that Douglas preferred drafting Wilson to signing Deebo plus San Fran's 2nd round pick.

Larz
Wilson Davis Moore Berrios Mims if we’re trading for a veteran, shouldn’t it be a LB, S or DT ?
Popular Post Biggs
Next years draft is QB rich. If Zach blows we are going to want our first round pick. There is enough WR /TE/ RB and line talent to evaluate Zach. If Zach is good and is showing potential there will be plenty of opportunity to trade picks for established talent. 4
Irish Jet
Deebo died with the Wilson pick. Zach’s in a good enough situation as it is now and we shouldn’t be using anymore significant resources at WR for a while. Love the player but we need to move on. There’s only so many of these guys you can use.
jetstream23
A 2023 2nd and Corey Davis and a conditional 2023 late rounder (a 4th at best, a 6th at worst based on incentives like receptions, yard, etc.). I'd do that. Deebo, Garrett Wilson, Elijah Moore?

FootballLove
#10 plus Corey Davis? Sure, why not. We're already paying Corey $13m, plus the $6m we're paying the #10 pick, so right there's $19m even without Deebo. How much more could Deebo cost than what we're already paying NOT to have him? $6m? So our #10 plus Corey plus $6m for Deebo? All day.
