I'm not so sure.  JD is not going to trash another player, so I feel he was hedging in his praise for Stingley.  Sometimes you need to read between the lines.

The Becton stuff sounds like the team has a goal weight he needs to meet or else they won’t  activate him. Not much the Jets can do but cross their fingers especially if he’s going to skip the off-season program.
