He actually made more sense when he attacked Zach’s character.

And that was really the moment when I gave up on Bart, SNY and all the beat writers for that matter. We have multiple YouTube content makers to choose from super flim brake downs to casual (but knowledgable) fans. @Green Bean , @Blah! Blah! Blah!, Frankie from Flatbush, Matt O'Leary, Jets Media, Jets X Factor, Tyson Rouse of Let's Talk Jets, our own Jets Nation and many more. I honestly dont give Bart Scott and the others the time of day after they ridiculously destroyed Zach's character after arguably his best game.  F'em

But for this to be a real conversation, Saleh and Wilson have to beat New England first.

Agreed. The post-Brady beatings the Pats have put on the Jets have been particularly brutal and humiliating. I’ll hop aboard once we beat the Pats but until that happens this kind of talk is empty.

In 9 seasons without Brady he's been to the playoffs twice and has one playoff win. If this guy had't lucked into the GOAT QB with a 6th round pick his coaching career would have ended over a decade ago

One of those non-playoff seasons was an 11 win team.

Please show me a great coach with below average QB play for his career?

Is Bill Walsh a HofF genius if Joe was not available in the 6th round?  Probably not.  Smartest thing he did was probably leave while on top.

Is Noll a great coach with out Bradshaw and eight other HofFers?  No.  His last 12 years won more than 10 games once. missed the playoffs 8 times and had 3 losing seasons.

Shula?  He went 89-70 his last 10 years with a HofF QB, missed the playoffs 6 times and never even made it to the AFC Championship game.

Now, the above two examples might be a sign of Bill's regression.  Time will tell.

So youre saying that HCs effect on the game is overrated and the real star of an organization is the GM

If the GM can’t recognize talent and draft good players the HC is sunk. By the same token if the the GM drafts good players and signs talented free agents and coach can’t get the maximum out of his players they both are out of a job

They have to work together. This season is a big one for Saleh as it seems that the talent is there. Him and his staff need to “ coach em up “

Probably depends on team.

Seriously, TB12 was not TB12 in 2001.  There were traits there that he displayed, but he was not the G.O.A.T.  To conflate that today's TB12 play was throughout the entire 20 years and is solely responsible is dumb.

Brady didnt put up the numbers in 01 but he was a winner and thats what counts.  He had Bledsoe to help out too, especially in the playoff game vs the Steelers.

Again, my only point to the other guy's reply is, it is nonsensical to paint Belichick with the "his success is all because of Brady" when ignoring the fact that all great coaches had a great QB tied to their hip.

Maybe part of their fall off is they change after being with their teams for 20+ years, theyre not the same HC as they were earlier.  Like BB has become.  Dinosaurs
