A dream 4th rounder.   Acceptable bust risk for a known issue with easy to see superstar potential.

2 things make this a fantastic pick from an organizational standpoint:

1. Even with his off field issues he was a team Captain. That says a TON about him as a football player and shows that his mind is mostly focused in the right place

2. Even if he does have some off the field tendencies the Jets not have a core group of such high character veterans and leaders that even without the coaches the team can provide the right environment for him to grow,

His teammates were likely too afraid of him not to hand him the captaincy.  “Here, take my car keys too.”

Injuries and off field issues made him slip. JD took a good roll of the dice on this guy. Lets see if he pans out. I'm excited. But he will def. need to stay healthy. Not as worried about the off field stuff, but with money/fame, once the wrong people start coming around, that can also rear its ugly head.

Haha.  I actually think he is a good guy, he has some charisma to him.

Spent too much time enjoying those vids...don't have time to google his injury history or off field 'issues'. Anyone care to fill me in on those? Thanks!
