Jets 2022 Full Schedule

Yikes. Looks like Saleh and Zach could be on the hot seat by the time we get to the bye week. Even the two “easy games”, Cleveland and Denver, are on the road.

Denver has Russell Wilson.  And it's in the altitude.

The Jets have the talent to win 8 games. That said, it's a brutal start to the season and it could go bad real quick.

One thing is for sure, we’ll get a good early look at what I think most of us consider the two biggest weaknesses/question marks: run defense and Zach Wilson. All those AFC North teams are gonna want to run it, and all of the pre-bye opponents have at minimum a solid defense.

This can’t be real. They play the entire AFC North on consecutive weeks?

The Raven's supposed schedule does the same thing.  All four AFCE opponents in weeks 1-4.  That is weird but maybe something the NFL is into as an experiment.  In any case, that schedule is not balanced over the season.  really front-loaded with harder opponents.  Not a fan of that.

The gut reactions:

Week 1: Sept. 11 vs. Ravens, 1 p.m., CBS - Not happening

Week 2: Sept. 18 at Browns, 1 p.m., CBS - Maybe

Week 3: Sept. 25 vs. Bengals, 1 p.m., CBS - Only if Mike White Starts

Week 4: Oct. 2 at Steelers, 1 p.m., CBS - Probably not, but could be

Week 5: Oct. 9 vs. Dolphins, 1 p.m., CBS - Hopefully

Week 6: Oct. 16 at Packers, 1 p.m., FOX - No chance

Week 7: Oct. 23 at Broncos, 4:05 p.m., CBS - Nope

Week 8: Oct. 30 vs. Patriots, 1 p.m., CBS - Certainly hope so

Week 9: Nov. 6 vs. Bills, 1 p.m., CBS - Very doubtful

Week 10: Bye - They definitely won't lose!

Week 11: Nov. 20 At Patriots, 1 p.m., CBS  - Meh

Week 12: Nov. 27 vs. Bears, 1 p.m., FOX  - Should

Week 13: Dec. 4 at Vikings, 1 p.m., CBS - Probably not

Week 14: Dec. 11 at Bills, 1 p.m., CBS - Not happening

Week 15: Dec. 18 vs. Lions, 1 p.m., FOX - They friggin better

Week 16: Dec. 22 vs. Jaguars, 8:15 p.m., Prime Video - Prime time baby!  Which means while they easily should, probably won't as everyone watches

Week 17: Jan. 1 at Seahawks, 4:05 p.m., FOX  - Hopefully

Week 18: Jan. 7/8 at Dolphins, TBD, TBD - Will either team even care?

It's the Jets, so they'll definitely lose a couple where they're favorites, especially if it seems to have suddenly "clicked" but then steal a couple out of complete left field to balance it out, so if this draft class is anywhere close to the hype machine levels and Wilson stops being quite so Wilson about it, should be looking at around .500.

Great schedule!

really as good as we could hope for. Going to Miami late, awesome. At Green Bay in October, awesome. Extra time to get ready to fly to Seattle, awesome. At buffalo early December not ideal but it’s not January lol. Last 4 games very “winnable “  perfect bye week

cheaters/ Jill’s/ cheaters will probably Decide the season, but every schedule has its rough patch

overall I’m very happy

The first 4 games we need to win for us to have a better chance at the wildcard spot

There is a legitimate chance we go 0-9 to start the season.

That is such a BS schedule.

The NFL put the hardest teams on our schedule, all in a row.

It’s so obvious I say it every year, how they play in the division will dictate what kind of season we have. If the Jets by some miracle split and win 3 division games, I can find another 4-6 wins in this schedule. Bears, Jags, Lions, Seahawks, Vikings, Browns are all beatable.  If we go 0-6 in the division again we will only win 4-6 again. Win your division games. Just split!

I’m sorry, but that’s a terrible schedule for this team. The first 8 games are ridiculously difficult. It’s near impossible to get off to a good start. Hopefully Jets fans are patient, because the second half of the season is going to be a lot better than the first.

Did you seriously just say that lol
