Jet_Engine1
Great character actor. I'll always see him in his role from The Greatest Movie Ever Made as Astronaut Gus Grissom... be careful, Gus might have a few corrections for you when you meet him... Godspeed, Fred.

The Right Stuff was one of the best books I ever read. The movie was wonderful, too. Fred Ward was also touched by the Creator for being cast in the role of Henry Miller in Henry & June. I mean finding yourself in a in a Uma Thurman-Maria de Medeiros sandwich? And getting paid for it? Very hot scene and great flick. RIP, Fred Ward.

Also was good in Alcatraz. Just a great working actor, who consistently worked for 40 years.
