So what does Joe Douglas get for Denzel Mims? It’s gotta be a 2023 second rounder, a WLB, and a baby’s arm holding an apple.

Man, if Mims has a season similar to last year's?   I don't think he even winds up in the USFL (if it still exists) let alone the CFL.

Pats depth chart looking kind of weak

Both Mac Jones’ top receivers last year were UDFAs. He made the Pro Bowl as an alternate.

Meanwhile, the 2021 Jets featured a first round draft pick and a second round pick, and the narrative is that it would’ve been impossible for our QB to succeed because he was, like, the least-supported rookie QB of all time.

May as well assume Parker is injured. If he's not, he'll sneeze soon enough.

Parker has a 4.45 40. That’s the main reason he was bought in. Pats sorely lacked speed on the outside and needed someone would could threaten the back of the defense. I expect the first Patriots play of the season to be a deep bomb to Parker as Belichick tries to put the league on notice that Jones can and will throw deep in 2022. Whether Parker remains healthy, who knows. It’s true he gets dinged a lot.

He was such an enigma.  There is talent.  Not the level of talent players drafted after him have.  You would see flashes of it, but it was never consistent.

Then there were his moments.  Mac Jones telling him he is in the wrong spot.  The football  barely glancing off his face mask in Buffalo last year that allowed Buffalo back in the game.

He is the poster child for change of scenery might do him good.
