Dunnie
So ... Bills, Patriots, Ravens, Packers .. Wont start their No QB Wk 1 or pre season HOWEVER Chiefs, Steelers, Colts, Jags, Browns and 49ers will start their No 1 QB. Should the Jets be risking ZW w/ no Right Tackle ? What say ye ? jgb
Yes. Start him as much as reasonably possible.
Larz
Hmmm with the new 3 game format I think I would play him the first 2 games. Probably 5 series in total Lots of handoffs, no 5 step drops lol
Beerfish
He needs to play.
jbt
Work on the short passing game so he does not get killed back there

The ones starting their QBs have a lot of 'new'. The Chiefs being the exception and the confusing one on there. The Jets have a lot more stability from last season to this one compared to the others. Give Zach a series in pre-season game 2 and then sit him until the regular season.
Trotter
He needs the work. Hopefully they keep it minimal and low risk plays. obviously just get everyone out of these games healthy.

peekskill68
I would sit him until our starting OL is established and has had a chance to practice together. If the plan is for Brown to play LT and move Fant back to RT, do we really want Zach out there vs. the Eagle starters with Edoga at LT and Fant at RT where he's had no work in camp so far? I don't see much value having him in there to hand off to Hall and Carter or throw a couple of quick hits to the TE's.
slimjasi
Let the franchise QB play
Lith
Let him play. A lot of 3-step drops, rhythym throws, get the ball out quickly. But let him try to get into a rhythym.
jeremy2020
Also, it looks like the Giants apparently won't be playing their starting QB either.
