Strong likelihood we will never see Wilson in a Jets uniform ever again.  And really that's how it should be. He was a reach, and he's shown nothing. Whether it's one of the QBs on the roster or a trade, better than Wilson either way, Spent all of last season pretending he was any good. Now at least we don't have to pretend.

We can revisit this debate next off-season after Flacco limps us to 8 wins and we're debating whether to trade up to draft another QB, or give Zach Wilson another chance now that he's healthy.

Should be fun.

It’s over for the rookies, Elijah Moore, AVT, Michael Carter, DJ Reed, Lawson, Hall, the guys fighting for roster spots, etc?

The season may be over for you but there are other players on this roster worth watching.

Maybe finally a Jets GM will try multiple avenues in parallel (draft, FA, trade) to bring in a competent thrower of the football.

In what was generally a miserable night, I'll give kudos to a couple of guys:

1) Michael Clemons looks like he might be a find... dude's a beast; he looked more disruptive than JJ, although I thought JJ looked ok too.

2) Zonovan Knight may be hard to cut; Tevin Coleman may not make the roster

3) Jamien Sherwood looked much better than expected coming back from injury. 

4) Breece has got juice.

Other notes: nice to see Ruckert get a few plays; Tanzel Smart had a good game, but just don't see it, pretty short for the position;.  Not sure there is much to say about the o-line right now; seems like a hot mess; the secondary sucked as well.  Conklin impressed, but in a way that suggested Zach was telegraphing passes to a safety blanket, Uzomah not so much.

This is likely Flacco's team now.  Let's see what he's got next game.  He can still sling it.

The best thing that could happen to those players is they get saved for next year when the games might actually matter again.

I highly doubt guys like Lawson and Reed really give a f*ck about playing for the 2-15 2022 New York Jets, in particular.

Preach it but strevler is not even in the same universe as Ricky Ray as a QB.

The good thing about streveler you saw out there, he will run and when he does he will get you chunk yards
