IMO it’d be a shame if Douglas got canned. He’s had a few (big) whiffs but his team building philosophy is sound. I don’t see another GM doing much better from a roster building standpoint, other than he’d be starting with a far better base. Could go either way with Saleh. I honestly think LaFleur is the star of the staff and would be the bigger loss if we moved on.

I am a big Saleh fan but honestly was not impressed with what I saw tonight.  Though the team looked flat and unprepared and I thought Saleh should have sent Quincy to the locker room after that bush league hit.

Quincy should have been benched 100%. There had to be some consequence after that stupid stoooopid hit. If he does it again demote and bench him on the spot.

So I went to the game last night, sitting not to far behind the Jets….my thoughts 

1) Team looked like it didn’t care. Yea it’s pre season, but this is on Saleh, these guys looked way to relaxed just wanting to head back to Jersey.

2) First team defense has long ways to go. Lots of breakdowns in coverage; basically the opposite we were hearing in camp. They got sliced and diced for 2 touch down drives before leaving. Ulbrich once again had that stupid blank stare of concern on the sidelines. 
 

3) Zach looked bad, then he had that non contact injury. I told everyone around me they was his acl. Sure looked like it, but hoping it was pcl.

4) Mike White isn’t that good. Soft throws, some off target, plays best the dink and dunk game. Not starter material. 
 

5) 3rd string and most guys who won’t make the roster played hard at the end to give Jets a win. Maybe the starters should take a lesson.

6) Philly fans generally suck, but Lincoln financial is decent. Nothing to write home about tho.

Besides the Wilson stuff I thought the team looked uninspired. Too much talent and money spent for them to come out looking listless. The Jets don’t seem to have a bad cop on the coaching staff when needed. Philly overall is the worst major city in America, I agree there.

It was beyond frustrating. Just laughing and joking on the sidelines as they were putting out an awful product

There is no one who was a Jets fan, during the Kotite years, who Knows anything about theJets or NFL football who could compare Kotite to Saleh…. NO ONE!!

Kotite didn’t know his own players names, would sneak out from practice to play golf and literally is listed as one of the worst HCs in NFL History!
