Smart move on his part actually. Nothing wrong with it. God awful GM but seemed nice enough.

No player should want a “nice” agent.

Just like no one should want a “nice” QB, like sweet Sammy.

I'm just saying I don't think he should be a poverty case because he sucked as an NFL GM. I don't wish the man any Ill will. JFC.

My crystal ball says...

Jets get number 1 overall in a couple years.

Arch Manning decides to come out.

Arch Manning hires Mike Macagnan.

Mike Macagnan convinces Arch Manning to boycott coming to New York.

It is written.

Pfffft. He’s going to forgo working for Arch Manning in favor of a 24 year old defensive tackle from division 2.

There is not a GM in the NFL who would not embrace the opportunity to negotiate with Maccagnan. I hope he represents JD’s favorite free agent target next March.

3 Biggest Doofwads to ever be associated with the Jets:

  1. Lou Holtz
  2. Adam Gase

I’d most certainly put Macc over Gase since at least Gase was smart enough to recognize Macc’s stupidity and heroic enough to rid us of Macc.

But I have no quibbles with Holtz getting the top spot.

Sounds like a great poll idea!

Perfect career for him.

If he likes a player and the team is offering $, he knows to take it. Don't hold out, take the $. No questions asked.

"Cause that player is gonna suck,

How is Adam Gase on that list over Rich Kotite? In 32 games coached each, both jaçka$$e$ Produced these putrid results as NYJHC:

Rich Kotite: 4-28

Adam Gase: 9-23

Gase won twice as many games with a worse roster and much more antagonistically entertaining PCs. And as mentioned by another poster, Gase’s greatest deed was his power play to Axe Macaggnan for the good of the franchise and trade away Darron Lee as he crowned himself emperor!

Why does being a “nice guy” — or in this case “seeming” like it — matter at all in this context?

We don’t really know these guys. Deshaun Watson was universally hailed as a “nice kid” by everyone he wasn’t actively sex pestering.

Screw nice (or the low-information perception thereof) and give me people good at their freaking jobs.
