Streveler

I’d like to see them find a place for him on the roster in a Tayson Hill kind of role. He could be more valuable in that role than Mike White because he could be part of the game plan. If White makes the team he prob won’t play and mostly inactive unless injuries.

He’s def looking better than Mike White but doubtful Jets will cut White after last year.  Actually Streveler has snaps in the NFL and starts in the CFL. He was known as more of a slash player used more on running downs than as a passer.

What did White do last year? He had 1 good game. He sucks.

The Reveler has enough zip for this offense which is to hit his receivers in stride on crossing routes like he did to Cager. We’re yet to see him test his deep (25+ yards) ball accuracy and “soft touch” passes against better DBs. But he has moxie and the entire team feeds off his playing style. It was rather obvious how the offense functioned better with Streveler than with White (quality of competition taken into account). It was night and day.

From a first hand perspective,  he is fun to watch.  However,  he is not a NFL QB or backup IMO.  Someone made a comment of a Taysom Hill role, and I could see that.

Passing tonight was no different than what White was doing,  but he was playing against scrubs while we had some talent in the field.  Cager is also fun to watch.

And Steve O Neal was in there for the longest punt but that doesnt make him our best punter ever.  Think about THAT!

Correct. In the same vein both players were immortalized for their unreal play in JUST ONE GAME and that merited them mention and a spot in the HOF over hundreds of other football playing Careers that were far superior over the years.

This team played better immediately after he took over and looked like a completely different team. He was much better than noodle arm White for the second game in a row. Lets not discount that.
