They also kept C/G Chris Glaser over Williams and Benenoch

It could be Glaser (C/G), Piersbacher (G.C) and Hermanns (T) on the Practice Squad

Exactly what I thought when I saw it as well.  I thought Glaser was the OL who would get cut.

Don't like that they cut Eddy Piñeiro. He was money. When was the last time Jets kicker went perfect on his field goal attempts

I can't say enough how disappointed I am about Eddy P being cut. Feels like a mistake. Get ready for the bump in early September.

I'm not. They like him, but he's clearly the 6th guy on their safety depth chart (behind all of Parks, Davis, and Pinnock) so he wasn't making the team. Best to cut him early and give him a chance to sign somewhere else.

Can't see Ashtyn making this team.  He's not particularly good at either safety position and was listed as a strong safety in the most recent depth chart after being drafted to be a free safety.

Allow me to State this and it's just my humble opinion, I think JD and our HC are trying to develop a reputation around the league.

In other words they're not just screwing you and treating you like lunch meat. A lot of players in the league talk to each other and know each other. So if the GM is giving you a chance to latch on someplace else that's a sign of respect.
