lol most reliable wr 4 on the team 100%.

the love for mediocrity you have is amazing even for a jets fan. You are really trying to argue that berrios is better than Davis and Moore. Quite the hill you have made camp on tater salad.

I think we will.  If someone claims him, he has to go to the active roster.  What team is going to use a roster spot on an unproven QB (no matter how good he looked in the preseason) who has no knowledge of the playbook and has not established any chemistry with WRs.

I think the possiblity of Streveler being claimed is remote.

Eh, he only had two weeks with us before the Eagles preseason game, and I don't recall hearing his name at all in the TC camp reports. No one is signing him to be a backup, but if they're carrying 3 QBs and think he might be better than their #3, who cares if he's new to the team? He'll be sitting on the bench learning the playbook anyway.

I say this with the caveat that I have absolutely no working knowledge of any other team's #3 QB, so I reserve the right to not know what I'm talking about, lol.

I'm now thinking Pinnock and Parks cut were just to make room for IR/PUP people?

Who is on the list potentially? Does Becton need to make the 53 before being put on IR? Or since he is already on IR can they use his spot?

Other PUP/IR candidates:

McDermott

Vinny Curry?

Anyone else?

Interesting. I was wondering about Greg Senat (OT) who has been on the NFI list since camp started.

Becton and any other IR that is full year is exempt...

All others that are 4 week (?) Are placed on IR tomorrow...

I think that's how it works

Becton is on IR. He’s done for ‘22.

I don’t see the need to put Curry on 53 to then place him on IR tomorrow.  He’s a vet. He’s also injured. Jets can sign him after week 1, if they want. His contract would then be basically week to week.

The only reason anyone is surprised by the Pinnock cut is because of how the coaching staff talked about him.  They pumped him up when they moved him from corner cause he couldnt play there.  Nothing Pinnock ever actually did on the field was impressive.  A slow corner back does not make a great safety.

Looking forward to tony jefferson or whoever else we bring in.  We are about to majorly upgrade the safety position.

In case anyone is curious about the thoughts of an old friend.  Looks like he has a new crush this summer.

Edit: Fact check.  Parks just turned 28 last month.  And he has played for 4 teams: Jets, Eagles, Broncos and Dolphins.

I don’t know, 4 teams or 8 teams, kind of the same, right?
