Who is on the list potentially? Does Becton need to make the 53 before being put on IR? Or since he is already on IR can they use his spot?

Eh, he only had two weeks with us before the Eagles preseason game, and I don't recall hearing his name at all in the TC camp reports. No one is signing him to be a backup, but if they're carrying 3 QBs and think he might be better than their #3, who cares if he's new to the team? He'll be sitting on the bench learning the playbook anyway.

I say this with the caveat that I have absolutely no working knowledge of any other team's #3 QB, so I reserve the right to not know what I'm talking about, lol.

Becton is on IR. He’s done for ‘22. 

I don’t see the need to put Curry on 53 to then place him on IR tomorrow.  He’s a vet. He’s also injured. Jets can sign him after week 1, if they want. His contract would then be basically week to week.

Raw guy with huge athletic upside who got overdrafted in the 4th round and converted to TE by the Rams. Probably someone of interest with last year's roster and not this one, but just caught my eye.

The only reason anyone is surprised by the Pinnock cut is because of how the coaching staff talked about him.  They pumped him up when they moved him from corner cause he couldnt play there.  Nothing Pinnock ever actually did on the field was impressive.  A slow corner back does not make a great safety.

Looking forward to tony jefferson or whoever else we bring in.  We are about to majorly upgrade the safety position.
