Streveler, by all accounts, outplayed White. You never heard anything about him having egregious days in training camp, despite limited reps and, as meaningless as pre-season is, he definitely outplayed him there. - When you’re down to your QB3, your season is, by all accounts, over. So, adding on to the above, why not say “f*ck it” and see if he is anything? Sure, he most likely isn’t, but there’s still the .1% chance he is, that doesn’t exist with White. - The kid needed a little bit of time on the 53 to get an NFL pension. Hopefully for him, he can win back his previous job as the backup QB for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. I wouldn't count on it but I'll be pulling for him! Do you know if being on a practice squad goes toward an NFL pension? Because I’d bet he’s a strong candidate for the practice squad.
