I would love him here, but he is going to Dallas.  10000000%

Jerry Jones has one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel.
Even if he hangs on a few more years, if I’m Sean Payton, I come here instead.

We have two owners with no backbone, but good intentions he can easily control, and a beaten down fan base without any of the expectations and sense of entitlement Cowboy fans have.

Agreed. Plus a talented roster. We are more attractive of a job than Dallas is.

Sean Payton doesn't seem like a guy who shy's away from high expectations.  That's why we want him.

Dude. Sean Payton is never, ever coming here. Would you take a job with a total dumpster fire company? .....Or one OF THE MANY OFFERS he'll get from lucrative well established organizations where he can enjoy some more career longevity.

A commodity like Sean Payton, will never, ever.... never never never never never never never never... EVER... EVER-EVER... never never never never never ... ever come here.

You work at McDonalds or you're trust fund baby if you think someone like SP would take a job here.

So, can I put you in the “no, it’s not happening” column with this one?

We could have said the same about Parcells in 1997.

I've to be wrong about this kind of thing. Would i love to be? Absolutely. I would 10000000% go get Sean if i could... but why would a guy who could lands 8 jobs without farting pick this place. Think about it like it's your job. How long have you worked for your current employer.... imagine have the reputation we have

He's a odd cat., i'll give him that....  it's almost like, he wanted to come back NY

I dunno... think year after year in the last decade, history speaks for itself.  Jets aren't considered a great place to go -- player/coach.

They definitely aren’t, but maybe Woody has to suffer financially in order to start offering real money to big candidates.

After yesterday, if there isn’t a significant improvement, I won’t be renewing my season tickets, PSL be damned.

I wont be either. Not an empty threat either. This is just too much and too long of nonsense from this organization. I can stop watching in the third quarter from my home easier than Incan from the stadium.

The Jets are the 6th most valuable franchise in the league

The franchise prints money, regardless of the ticket sales

True. Parcells would call him and roast him if he took an interview lol

Maybe they said it already and I missed it, but I don't understand what Woody did to cause Parcells, BB, Charlie Weis (very focal on Sirius XM) and others to hate the Jets and not respect them.

But it clearly affects their ability to hire.

What is it now? 4 straight regimes wrecked by Woody meddling?

The word was out about woody.  Trust fund baby who wanted to be the next Jerry Jones because the board of Johnson & Johnson wanted nothing to do with him and his brother

Yes and no.

Most money generated goes to revenue sharing.  Yes, if Woody sold the team he would easily make $2.5 billion in profit and spare us jets fans another 1-2 decades of torture

The only reason Parcells came here was because it facilitated his vendetta ride against Robert Kraft.

As cameras followed him and Belichick as they toured the old Giants stadium years later, the host asked if they wanted to go into the Jets locker room for old time’s sake. They both looked at him like he asked if they wanted to climb inside the cockpit of a Japanese Zero during the Battle of Midway.

Vendetta against Kraft for the terry glenn stuff and I believe his family was still in north jersey

It helped that Leon Hess wasn’t a total moron and he also said he’d let Bill do whatever he wanted(including not drafting Peyton Manning)
