Popular Post greenwichjetfan
I'm all out of ****s to give. Give Payton whatever he wants to come here. This team has too much talent on paper to be this bad. The training camps are bad, the practices that we've seen are bad, the in-game decision making is bad, the weird decisions on who plays and who doesn't is bad, and the actual games are bad. If nothing else, Payton will at least put the talent on the field and put them in good situations to win their plays. Whether they win games or not is up in the air given that he had a top 10 all time QB and had losing seasons for like 3 years in a row, but at least the Jets will be fun to watch. At this point, that's all I want - is to be entertained.

RSJ
At some point they will be out of tricks to try and get people in their stadium. They have tried just about everything including gimmicky uniforms, convincing young fans its a QB driven league, supposedly promising young coaches. Eventually the circus runs out of tricks.Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app

Green Ghost
With Dak’s injury last night, McCarthy’s a dead man walking. We need to offer Payton a blank contract before Jerry does, and let him have complete control of this franchise. 1

Even if he hangs on a few more years, if I’m Sean Payton, I come here instead. We have two owners with no backbone, but good intentions he can easily control, and a beaten down fan base without any of the expectations and sense of entitlement Cowboy fans have. 1

Would you take a job with a total dumpster fire company? .....Or one OF THE MANY OFFERS he'll get from lucrative well established organizations where he can enjoy some more career longevity. A commodity like Sean Payton, will never, ever.... never never never never never never never never... EVER... EVER-EVER... never never never never never ... ever come here. You work at McDonalds or you're trust fund baby if you think someone like SP would take a job here. 1

maury77
Sean Payton is familiar with the area as he used to coach for the Giants. If he’s available and the Jets are moving on from the current GM/HC, make Payton an offer he can’t refuse. Hell, he might even be able to develop Zach Wilson. varjet
He basically could get equity of either the Jets or Cowboys-real money. That is what he should be holding out for.
