It may have been just checking his range of motion and pain tolerance. I doubt they put h on a treadmill at a fast jog for 60 minutes. According to Jets team physician Dr. Kenneth Montogmery, affectionately called The Angel of death in Florham Park, he forced Zach to flex his knee as far as he could before saying ouchy.
Barry McCockinner
Waiting for Saleh to announce Zach has made a miraculous recovery and will be starting week 2 any minute now.

Just like last year with Becton “It’s not a setback, everyone heals differently” And somehow @Jet Nut will be attempting to spin this as being all part of the plan

The broadcast said he was watching the game from a box. Is this typical? Did you ever see a cameraman or the guy holding the first down marker get taken out by a player who was pushed out of bounds or got tackled out of bounds? If something like that happened to Zach, who they still probably want to avoid making sudden movements, there'd be plenty of people wanting to hang Saleh for being so stupid as to risk his QB1 like that.

Don’t bother. It’s a waste of time.

Ecuadorian Jet
Maybe Wilson returns for week 6, gets reinjured, more shady information, and eventually nonchalantly drop the news that he is out for the season.

Waiting for Saleh to announce that Zach has fully recovered and is 110% but he's still going to start Flacco.

If you don't want him standing on the sidelines because of the injury....fine. But why isn't he in the box with Lafleur getting a feel for how/why he calls a game. It seems there is something to be gained there as opposed to watching it alone in a suite I posted it during the Giants game. Someone brought up the safety point which made sense but to not be near Lafleur in the booth seems dumb. Get him as many mental reps as possible.
Origen
Well it's about 100% that no matter where he was, Zach had the earpiece in to hear the play calls, if he didn't they should all be fired. Personally, I don't care where Zach was, none of those pictures were of the star QB on the sidelines of a sh*tty day in the rain after knee surgery. They probably have that box for the inactives and PS and the guys can go to the sidelines or sit up there depending upon what they may need to do, if anything, during the actual game. It's possibly preference, injury status, who knows, but it's not that he was sitting in some dope's luxury box eating hot dogs all game. Geez this place goes crazy after one game. We don't even know what this team will be like for another 3 games at least! Hell, they could be the best Jets team ever and chicken littles are so excited to tell everyone the sky is falling again that they can't wait for the actual season to happen before ending it.
