Kind of amazing how quickly this place turned on Saleh (merged)

Is it a reflection of the times we live in? 

The team ended the year relatively strong. Playing good competitive games. You were in love with LaFleurs play calling and the main question was Wilson- was he holding the offense back? The other question was the Defense, could Saleh actually put together a good D? 

Well, after a universally praised off season it seems like most of this place is ready to fire Saleh after one game. A game were the defense answered the bell and looked fantastic.

The offense was abysmal, but didn’t you all love LeFleur last year? This surely is an aberration right? I mean Wilson was holding this offense back and we only added a ton talent.

Isnt the rational reaction to week 1 to be happy that the defense appears to be legit and assume that the offense will find its way since it proved last year to be competent, or at least coached competently by LeFleur (according to you)

Well when he stops insulting the fan base for wanting "instant" success, like we havent been waiting for years. 

Well when he stops telling about the magical "flip" that will happen that never does.

Well when hes 4-14 as a HC and outscored by like 200 points. 

Well then the games not over by the end of the 3rd QTR.

Well when he can be semi transparent about injuries. 

I could go on, but the job looks to big for him.

the ravens were playing without their starting RBs and a third string LT. Every team has injuries. No more injury excuse for the Jets

The defense flipped yesterday. Now it’s the offenses turn. Maybe when they get their starting QB back it will happen?

The jury is still out on him.  He didn't show much his first year but, tbf, he had a crappy team.  The team kind of laid an egg against the Ravens.  I feel like halftime is when HC's can shine.  Harbaugh had the Ravens take control of the game in the 2nd half.

Also Saleh's tactics wear thin pretty quickly.  "All Gas. No Brakes", "Positive Vibes Only", and "I'm taking receipts".   Lame!

Sunday will be a good test just to see how the team comes out.  Will there be a fighting spirit or are they going to be listless?

I personally believe unless things go haywire fast, coaches should get at least three years. This ready to fire quick attitude though is built from an overall lack of trust in ownership through the teams last decade. It’s built up frustration with the past being taken out on the present.

The defense looked better but gave up 24 points to a team missing JK Dobbins and with no stand out recievers. Dont know if they flipped. Improved? Sure

I personally believe unless things go haywire fast, coaches should get at least three years. This ready to fire quick attitude though is built from an overall lack of trust in ownership through the teams last decade. It’s built up frustration with the past being taken out on the present.

Its got very little to do with the past with the exception of me seeing a team that isn’t being coached well before. Saleh is in way above his head and it wont take a third year to figure it out. Just watch a press conference.

Ravens were down to their 3rd LT. Everyone has injuries. The season started yesterday. Jets offense looked like they met in the parking lot. 

When you talk about all gas, no brakes, and your geriatric QB says the offense had no urgency, it's on you.

Did you see game one? I know I know. You are right. I'm one of the Saleh fans turning on him. His performance just looks so Adam Gase...it's terrible really... unfair though? No it is not. Hey he can turn it around and it's only game.one. but easy choices and basic game plan are not being checked. These are things any coach should be able to do. 

What exactly was the attack plan for flacco? It's was a flop.

The ravens were also playing with one of the better QBs in the league. Kinda helps a bit.

You say that but that’s not true. That was a very competitive game until our punter shat himself. There were several very competitive games to close the year as well.
