FidelioJet
I doubt he's coming back until Pittsburg. Although, I think they expected Flacco to be better than he did last week when they said Pittsburg. If they get blown out this week Wilson is back for Cincy. if they play well, he'll likely get that extra week.

Really poor management here on multiple levels. Get zach back 100pct, let the new Oline work out the kinks with Flacco taking the beating and giving breece and Garrett Wilson time to get comfortable in the league isn't the worst idea. Obviously if he is 100pct, he should be playing but given the above I'm ok giving him extra week. But there is no way they can let him sit out week 3 the way he looks today. 1

"rushed" lmao Do you see the way this guy is moving without a brace? Looks like no limitations to me, but I'm no doctor. Sunday will be more than a month removed from his surgery that had a 2-4 week recovery time. If he's too soft to play in the NFL I'd rather find out sooner than later. It doesn't appear as if there's any reason he shouldn't be playing Sunday to me. I'm pissed off we're going to be watching another episode of Geriatric Joe's farewell tour instead. 5 1 1

Maybe you should just let people react, instead of telling them how they'll react. Some of you spend more time whining about other posters future reactions than those other posters spend doing what you think they'll do. Anyway... Zach starting sooner than expected is good. Saleh being a blatant liar isn't bad, per se, but it is something to note so we don't take his statements as seriously in the future. But to repeat: Zach starting sooner is VERY GOOD.

I doubt the doctors solely decide when the player is allowed to play. The player, coaches, GM and maybe even owner probably have input. Even if we were going on the assumption that the doctors make the decision and the team and player must adhere to it, didn't they say 2-4 weeks from surgery? I love these hypotheticals that breeze past the fact Zach Wilson really sucks. a couple weeks ago it was "what if Flacco is awesome and Zach is healthy?" oh yeah? what if money starts falling from the clouds? what if this what if that or... or... just hear me out... what if Zach is worthless this "if Zach beats the Browns, haters will have to eat crow" is fantasy imagination time like Jets season wins over 5.5 being "easy money" there is no such thing as easy money, there is no santa clause, Virginia, and Zach's not going to beat anyone till after the bye assuming he comes back at all

SickJetFan
Joe Montana would not want to come back and play Cleveland with this set of bad news bears. I guess since they dont get enough practice in off season they need a 4 game mully - otherwise it russion roulette with your QB. and speaking of offseason why did anything have to change in what games your 1s started and how much they play. When there were 4 preseason games only scrubs played the last game anyway. So why did they have to change anything on how they play game 1,2, and 3...confuses me. Teams are terrified of injuries in the preseason. So some teams have all but eliminated starters playing in the new shortened preseason. Not a view I agree with, but it's their asses, if they want to coach fearfully, it's their call.
