Garrett Wilson: Pepsi Zero Sugar Rookie of the Week

I still find the entire idea of a "Rookie of the Week" to be silly.  Same as I did last year when Zach was winning it.

But good for him.

15 more games to go for the award that matter, Offensive Rookie of the Year.

I voted for him. To get over 100 yards, 2TDs and the game winning score warrants it.

I’ll take it but what does Pepsi have to do with great football play?

Corporate sponsorship of athletic awards is dumb.

disclaimer: diehard Coca Cola fan, or as I call it to the delight of my co-workers “American champagne.”

Hutchinson should have won Viagra "Hard Hit of the Week" as a consolation prize, at least.

3 sacks much less common than 100/2

It is - and yet, if I could only have a NYJ player accomplish one of the two this coming week, I’d choose the 100 yard receiver who had numerous first downs and two TDs, including the game-winner, over the guy who had 3 sacks for -20 yards.

I hear yeah nonetheless I voted for the player who had the more impressive/rare accomplishment.

Maybe Zach Wilson a chance to actually play with Garret Wilson before banishing him to the phantom zone?
just a thought

Garrett has already had that opportunity, and said Joe Flacco throws a "more catchable ball".  I'm just going straight to the source on this one, sir.

Nope. That’s actually not quite what he said. He didn’t directly compare them, only pumped up Flacco:

The question posed was “what’s the difference between catching balls from one to the other?”

The entire response is a comparison.

OK.  If Garrett Wilson ever has a 100+ yard, 2 TD day with Zach Wilson, I'll gladly donate $100 to a charity of your choice.
