What "contender" is going to see QW as the "missing piece" AND be willing to pay him the $20M+ per year he's inevitably going to be demanding?

Oh I'm not defending Q at all.

Just predicting what's the most likely outcome in his and JDs mind.

We ain't paying the guy, but theres always some dopey team looking at a player as the next piece, ala Jamal.

Maybe so.  I just don't see the trade compensation being anything useful given QW's eventual price tag.  Potentially even less than the 3 & 5 we got for Leonard Williams.

maybe work on some more conditioning drills if your best players are sucking wind and unusable in critical game situations?

BS.... That's on the player.  You're a pro.  You condition yourself. Unless you are Becton, then you game, release videos walking with dumbbells, wear tee shirts that "say" kool things and show up almost  so overweight but less weight than the year before, and many Jets fans hold you unaccountable.

The entire coaching staff needs media training.

Sure.

That is bound to produce results in the W column.

I'm glad he called the player out.  It's about time somebody on this team spoke the truth instead of trying to be everybody's BFF with the meaningless milquetoast answers.

Bullsh*t, the only hustle he shows, is the hustle he's laying on Jets fans.

Ya want to see a DT play hard watch the effort Watkins made chasing

a ball carrier way down to place a lick.  As a whole the team doesn't

run to the ball hard enough.  Two exceptions both fourth round picks.

Clemons hustle is well known to Jets fans, Here's a play that illustrates

Mitchell's-  On one of Flacco's interception. He chased down the interceptor

went flying through the air to make the tackle. After falling out of bounds,

he scrambled to his feet and help make the recovery. Out of breath, I'm

over 75 ride a stationery bike seven to eight hours straight six days a

week and never gasp for air, lazy QW should not have to either. Think

of the heart and effort the Bills and Dolphins showed in playing

to exhaustion in 100 degree weather compare that to lazy QW being

gassed after a few downs at 24 years old

Maybe he was in better shape in 2020 under Adam Gase.

Saleh might want to convert his training camp from Club Med to something resembling an NFL level grind.

Ulbrich is saying he wants to play him more but the guy is on the sidelines doubled over sucking wind.

Remember when @Matt39 was saying all summer that training camp looked like a big soft Twinkie munch and the team is going to be in trouble when the hitting starts and all the homers yelled at him that, actually, camp was probably very, very strenuous when the reporters weren’t there?

something something CBA, mumble mumble all teams are like this... yada yada

? . They throw players under the bus all the time around here..  so clearly this method doesn’t work.  Team is under coached and soft as baby sh*t. They should call out themselves.
