Popular Post Bowles Movement
He has definitely out performed his draft position.. Kudos to Douglas and his staff for finding this guy. If he hadnt worked out, we would really be in trouble. At this point, I think he may stay at RT even after Brown and Fant are healthy.

Beerfish
This guy might be a key to our team not going into the tank with all the injuries. Might as well go for a soda.

But if you claim people are being negative and it’s boring they’ll shout you down from their perches. Max Mitchell is an exciting player in an exciting draft class, his name if written in for the starting RT position going forward and that’s great.
Fantasy Island
This draft has done wonders for our team. It almost cancels out 2020.
SickJetFan
I wonder who on JD team driving the FA evaluations vs the Draft evaluations. Whoever is driving the Draft is way better.

Untouchable
He’s only going to get better Dude was a plus athlete coming out who fits this zone blocking scheme like a glove. Becton is now completely expendable. Get what you can for the guy after the season and move on.

I can't see getting anything for Becton until the end of the preseason. The guy will have played half a game in the last two seasons, questions about his commitment, and his ability to stay in shape. I tihnk he is going to need to show up to camp in shape, play well in preseason, and stay healthy throughout it all to have any value. But if he does all that, he may have ore value to us.

Adoni Beast
This is the kind of draft pick Douglas really needed. A non high pick who becomes a starter and big time contributor. It’s easier to get successes out of the Sauces and Garrett Wilson’s of the world.
CanadaSteve
Its time to sign an LT next year, and draft an OT in the 3-5th round. MAYBE even two. And then the year after that, it will be time to draft more OL in the 3-5 round. OL is something you constantly invest in, just like pass rushers. We've been loyal to a dumpster fire for 50+ years. Every other team in the NFL that's been around that long has been to a Super Bowl in that span other than who, the Lions and Browns? And we also, of course, have the longest current playoff drought. Dogsh*t results lead to dogsh*t fan support, generally. This franchise is lucky to have fans, and yet there's still quite a bunch of them around. The Jets are lucky to have us.

He's been a rare bright spot in a sea of suck. For once a GM here has seemingly hit on a midround pick at a premium position. Doesn't mean we all suddenly need to be positive about the direction of the franchise, which seems to be the sentiment several in this thread are suggesting. bla bla bla
love me some Max Mitchell but I do wonder how much his success and last year's success with Fant is from our 1st round pick AVT next to them.

I didn't have any time to respond yet... MADD MAXX to the rescue !!!! Like the pick, and watch out next year when he packs on more muscle, and strength. Those of you who were clamoring for Wirfs, will soon forget about him, because our boy MADD MAXX will be our RT for many years to come. Now all we will need is us a nice LT to bookend MAXX....
Irish Jet
He was good last week but he was at best below average the weeks before. Still way better than the liability I expected him to be at this stage but let’s see him sustain it for a while before thinking he’s the long term answer.
