It's really not about the video, or what was said, or politely offering legitimate criticism. It's about creating pain to force a change because fans are sick of the same-o same-o with this crew. Instead of throwing out a bunch of BS slogans and cliches from the podium and fighting with the reporters and the fans, these coaches should all STFU and go scheme some wins... And maybe the players themselves should win? They aren’t 7 years old in some Pop Warner league. Maybe they aren’t as good as the other teams.

the Claw
1 hour ago, More Cowbell said: Look, I am wondering if you played organized sports. If my basketball coach saw someone out of breath during a game, he took them out and benched them and had them running laps the entire practice the next day with the assistant coach while yelling at him the whole time. The boxing matches I competed in were 3 rounds. I trained for a nine round fight so I would always have my wind. The only time it was acceptable to be out of breath was track when you were doing someing like a 4-40 and were running at full speed for like a qrt mile. So you know what, you be out of breath in front of your teammates. I was winded at times but I made sure never to be heaving for air. Leaving it all on the field doesn't mean you are crawling back to your locker barely able to stand, it means you did everything you were asked to and more. That doesn't include fainting from exhaustion. When I was playing, if you weren’t heaving by the time you need to come off the field, then you’re not working hard enough when you’re on it. That’s the whole point of rotations and having a bench. Hiding when you’re exhausted costs your team every time. Pro’s should get exhausted because they should be pushing themselves against other players who are pushing themselves. That’s how competition works. This continues to be an issue with how you are interpreting a portion of a press conference that has been taken out of context in order to rile up the guys who love low hanging fruit. Congrats, you bit.

If he drops the next three games, then he’ll experience criticism. Compare it to the hailstorm of pure mockery Gase endured from the second he was hired, then through his weird press conference, and the jackhammering he took when the team sucked, and Saleh comes off as a true bitch here. Bob better beat the Steelers tomorrow. All of this.

JoeNamathsFurCoat
Just remember: “it’s not the Catalina wine mixer” Saleh’s new go-to nugget of wisdom when asked about anything performance- or Kapono-related Jets should provide have an on-screen interpreter on the lower left of the screen during Saleh pressers similar to sign language translators during political speeches

What % is Q at when he is gasping for air By Saleh’s Navy Seals math, Q should be able to play 100 snaps a game Most top DL play what 75 to 80% of snaps So if the opposing offense has 50 snaps, Q might be expected to play 40. If in reality he’s only used up 40% and has 60% left, that means the player actually has 100 snaps in him. So no way Q should be gassed playing in Ulbrich’s “keep everybody fresh rotation” unless his fitness is subpar Unless….Saleh’s 60% thing is….just….empty rhetoric

Jets DC Jeff Ulbrich responds to a question about whether he will consider more PT for Quinnen Williams. #Jets pic.twitter.com/NdIetAzmeH — Rich Cimini (@RichCimini) September 30, 2022 Defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich, whose unit has been the worst in the NFL since taking over before last season took a shot at defensive tackle Quinnen Williams while meeting with the media yesterday. When asked about Williams’ snap count, Ulbrich said “there are these critical moments in games, ‘Why is Quinnen not out there?’ You look to the side and he’s gasping for air.” The comments obviously got the attention of Williams who took to twitter to re-tweet comments from Saleh earlier this year in which he praised Williams. “Quinnen is in the best shape of his life”. Prior to joining the Jets staff, Ulbrich had never held the position of defensive coordinator, sans an interim stint with the Falcons, and his group has been the worst in the NFL since taking the post. Some would argue not the best time to go after your best player, but perhaps doing so is bush league? Remember…positive vibes only. The post Saleh Says it’s “Bush League” to Discuss Ulbrich Comments on Quinnen Williams appeared first on JetNation.com (NY Jets Blog & Forum). Click here to read the full story... saleh using a term like bush league to describe some valid comments of arguably their best player is not bush league. the right answer should be something like "ulbrich mispoke about williams . what he meant was that williams was playing 110%
Ecuadorian Jet
Everything shows that Saleh and co. firmly believe that they are smarter than everyone else, to the point is not confidence but idiotic arrogance.
