He’s gotta get rid of the ball faster

make quicker decisions

process faster

still needs to develop that trait

We saw that from him late last year.  Hopefully game 1 rust.

Good point

This is later in the game and while the read itself takes a bit of time, the quick/accurate throw with some zip on it was the type of throw he'd make at BYU that stood out to me.

This is a green tinted glasses situation.

Yes they allowed 1 sack, but jesus christ factor in the fact he was running for his life the rest of the time.

This is like thanking a guy for making out with your wife but not having sex with her.

not really.  what it shows is that wilson can succeed with a bad oline.  the jets made the steelers pay when they put on the pressure, especially in the fourth qtr.  granted we don't want to see wilson running so much but i don't think there's a team that's going to blitz him as much either.  and even though they lost mitchell and are still down fant and brown and they shifted avt to lt, the oline mostly held up and will get better when they get a few games together.

that is so true about his throws.  wilson throws darts.  it doesn't look like he really needs to step into his throws that much to get some zip on the ball.  now if they can only figure out how to get better yardage on first down.

its nice not to get sacked but he has to do something with those broken plays. he never seems to find a receiver and its just a loss of down.

That comes with time. He’s still very raw. Rodgers is a master of that, he loves and fashions his play from Rodgers. And there was a big drop by Hall in an exact scramble you just described that would have been a huge play.
