Nixhead
Our safeties made plays! 3 interceptions by our 2 maligned safeties - who saw that coming? So something was different in the secondary - some kind of scheme change for the better?

Popular Post Joe W. Namath
Patience. Whitehead is new here and joyner hasnt played safety in years. We want instant results. We all need to be more patient. Next week is the biggest game this franchise has played in 6 years. The explosion Saleh has been talking about could very well be coming on Sunday. I think we might blow out the Dolphins? 1
Popular Post hawk
I would have to say a significant part of the defense today was the opposing offense didn't have Lamar Jackon or Joe Burrow, or the Browns Talent. Just a hunch. 1

I don't think the Jets are that good that they can blow out the Dolphins quite yet but maybe we can surprise them a little bit and win a decisive game!

Beerfish
In this league players that get turnovers make a far bigger difference than better cover solid guys. Turnovers win and lose games.

Mogglez
To be honest? They simply communicated well. Everyone was on the same page, starting with the Safeties, and it trickled down. Very few, if any, busted plays, the CBs all knew their assignments and, most importantly, the d-line generated a bit of pressure. 4

And NEs 3rd QB Zappe took the Packers to OT and nearly beat them. Pickett did ok and had his team in position to win. The last INT he threw he should have realized you do not throw that pass when you are up by 3 with less than 4 mins to play.

rangerous
joyner had a really good game. the last pick was a gimme and you can argue his first one was a bad throw but then he also made a really nice play on a long pass in the first quarter. that set the tone for the game. Irish Jet
They played Mitch Trubisky and a rookie. Our defence was also the first to make their awful running game look competent. Our line-backers will be exposed by better QB's.

thebuzzardman
Do the linebackers on this team suck this much, is it that the defensive coordinator is this bad, or is it a happy fun times combination of both? I figure the last one, but will query the various experts on here nonetheless
jgb
Trubisky is overly-cautious and afraid to make a mistake. His play reminds me a ton of BYU's second half last season. Pickett is a rookie turnover machine.
