For example, let's say that Tom brought in $70 million during the marriage and Gisele brought in $10 million. It will be looked at as $80 million dollars brought in; $40 million to Tom, $40 million to Gisele.

Couples don't always divide things to a perfect 50.00%, but the idea is that marital assets and wealth during the marriage is close to equally divided.  A prenuptial agreement or state law specifics can influence how things are sorted out.

According to many she makes a lot more than him.  Thus the 70 to 10 amount is way out of whack in your example.  Who knows though.

630,000 divorces in the states last year.  This one is no more important or less important than the other 630 odd thousand other than the fact that being very wealthy it can make things easier to cope with financially.

How funny is this post!!! Apparently, Tom is sick of the GQ image that she wanted him to be. Her view of her marriage seems so superficial. Let the guy have some fun and enjoy his life. 
Maybe a divorce is the best thing for Tom!!!

Honestly, none of us know them in their personal lives.  Some narcissists, just like any personality disorder, are able to hide it more than others.  Neither you or I have any idea what personality profile either of them have.
