For the record, I'm 43. Putting together a Top 5 '80's movies list is an impossible task. It's completely subjective. Off the top of my head and in no order...

Back to the Future

Ghostbusters

Beverly Hills Cop

Fast Times at Ridgemont High

The Goonies

That is why I asked for everyone's opinion on this.

I know this is OT, so if you guys would kindly keep it on the main board just for a few hours.

I run an entertainment company, and one of my jobs is FUNdraising.

I am hosting a retro trivia night twice this month, and I am doing a Family-Feud style question.  Need 100 people to survey.

Looking for your top 5 movies from the 1980s.

ONE CATCH: You HAVE to be over 40!

Thanks dudes!  Ask your wives/girlfriends as well.  Need a balance between male and female responses.

Thats easy. Spinal Tap and The Warriors

We might be stupid af but at least we know the difference between 1979 and the 80’s. Not just the one year, Warriors is a great movie but definitely more of a 70’s feel. Very similar to Saturday night fever as oppose to the more traditional 80’s movies. Still two great choices.

As the first film to proudly fly the LGBTQ+ flag, I agree Warriors should be mentioned.  lol

Really? How so

I'm just messing around.   No disrespect meant.

I always hear the one one guy saying , "Warriors, come out and play" as being goofy.   A ton of movies (The Wild One, Escape From NY,  West Side Story, even Happy Days on TV) miss the mark depicting gang toughness by odd styling choices.
