Davante Adams pushed a cameraman down after the game.

One angle I haven't seen pursued is the fact that the cameraman or whatever he was (sound operator?) was carrying a piece of equipment that's likely worth more than his car.

When someone shoves you to the ground it's not ideal but having your arms to somewhat break the fall is the only thing giving you a chance

the cameraman, even if he's like the toughest dude in the world and greatest gymnast, loses all his ability to break the fall because he's holding extremely valuable equipment, Equipment used to make Adams money.

Besides concussion this could be a broken tailbone situation

as for everyone pining for a better past when the help could be shoved down, when exactly was this? The Reign of Henry the 8th?

Zach would have  missed 9 games

So what's the $  threshold . If it was a HS football player making no money than what, the camera guy gets up and walks away.

Like I mentioned earlier. For the incredibly difficult lives of professional athletes it’s just another thing they have to worry about.

What if the guy wandered onto the field during a play because he was unaware of his location. He's got a job to do , but it doesn't mean he can be clueless about his surroundings. I'm sorry , I'm tired of the clueless victim nonsense , like the woman suing Mcdonalds because she put hot coffee between her legs and got burned - maybe people should think before they act - and yes this also applies to Adams in this case. .

This is such a straw-man, though.
I’m not a fan of people who sue companies because of stupid sh*t like spilling hot coffee on themselves— I totally agree here. But this has nothing to do with what we’re talking about in this thread. According to you, people can just shove other people around because one person interprets another person as being “clueless about his/her surroundings?” If the coffee lady is not moving her car from the drive thru window, does the worker have the right to pour hot coffee in her lap? Of course not.

agree to disagree, I guess.

And the knocking the secretary over at an office building arguments aren't ?

I never condoned what Adams did ,or said Adams is innocent . I'm saying that there doesn't have to be a clear one side is right and one side is wrong in this situation . Adams handled it poorly and the cameraman used poor judgement in being where he was at that moment.

Those orange harmonica things were gross , they rank up there with the candy buttons that were attached to paper, which you ended up eating half of the paper as well.

LOL at those candy "dots".   We'd just buy rolls of that stuff.  I'm sure we ate a ton of paper along with the candy on which they were attached.

Here's another weird one I liked:  The "flying saucer" made of host-like material and filled with a bunch of really tiny candy balls.  lol

We live in a country where violent criminals are given cashless bail and then subsequently murder their wife or someone else soon after release.

Why give a fork and argue about about Davante Adams shoving someone?

Vapid story at best. I hope you enjoy it.

You have invested a lot of time now not caring about it ?

Yeah cuz that's what happened, right?  He went searching for this guy to release his anger on, right?  And said it was no big deal, right?  Probably plans on making it a weekly habit, right?

I just hope you never do anything in the moment you later regret, it would really stink to have to live by the standards you set for everyone else .  . .

what standard is that? the standard where i don't just randomly assault people for no reason at all? jeez what a ridiculous thing to expect of people....lol

difference being one guy assaulted another guy during his poor judgement....while the other just so happened to walk in front of him (not even walked into him by mistake, BUT JUST IN FRONT OF HIM!!)

If you were anonymous, this would be so much worse.

If I shoved a receptionist at work to the floor because she walked in front of me, I'd lose my job.  Adams will likely get a one game suspension and be back at work the following week.  And, the financial ramifications to me would be far greater than what this will cost Adams.  Adams will end up paying what proportionally to me, would be buying the receptionist a couple of nice dinners.  You think I get out of that at the cost of a couple of nice dinners?

What if that was your job? Ever think of that?

Plus Terry Tate was the real deal -- he wasn't even wearing body armor like Adams :)
