chirorob
Just watched this yesterday on Netflix. Outstanding, a great watch for baseball nerds like me. A lot of it was stuff I knew, but still really good. They hit on how the pitching coach on the Angels helped fix his delivery, giving him at least some control. How he threw 326 innings in a season, won 21 games, struck out 383, and didn't win the Cy Young. My favorite part was how he continued to improve, well in to his 30s and 40. Fun fact, his 3 best seasons for WHIP came after the age of 41, and his 3 best seasons of strikeouts per 9 innings came at ages 40, 42, and 44.
TheClashFan
I guess maybe reflecting on this gives me hope that Scherzer will be back to form next year at age 39. Hopefully.
