Cowboys have allowed exactly 1 TD on each of the games. I would argue theirs is better. 49ers D and Bills D is also pretty good.

But nobody could have seen this defense play this well even 4 weeks ago. They have improved incredibly fast this season.

Dallas defense is really good, I live out here and have watched most of their games.

Basically all of our of premium picks have gone to offense too. We will add more and more to it. Sorry Saleh I was wrong!

No they haven't. It's been split pretty evenly plus they have spent a lot of money on the defense. 2 of 3 first round picks were for defense.

Yeah I completely blanked on Sauce and JJ whoops . Was thinking last year with ZW, AVT, Moore and MC as the first 4 picks

If we could somehow swing a trade for Roquan Smith, this defense would be pretty much elite from front to back.  He's disgruntled, and on the last year of his contract, and the Bears should be out of contention soon.

Thank You In Advance, Joe Douglas!

I hate putting top 10 expectations on this D, but they've earned it. So good. And the young guys keep getting better.

What about our LBs man!? Looking way better.

The linebacker play really has been the difference. I mean we kind expected (or at least hoped) that the secondary and DL would show marked improvement based on the invesments in draft capital and free agency and we all feared the LB were the weak link.  Who knew they would actually become a strength?  Kwon Alexander has been a Godsend and DJ Mosley is playing his best football as a Jet.  Quincy Williams has also looked good.

They certainly get most improved after being ranked last in almost everything last year.

This D is very good. Of course, the teams we have been playing is far from elite. I figured it would take at least 8 games to notice the improvement. Glad I was wrong. They are fun to watch and never seem to quit - enjoy it Jet fans, we have earned it.

But, keep it in perspective - there are teams that can beat us. There are teams that can score points on us. This D does look monstrous right now....

Mosley is still terrible. He did stick one tackle there looked good later on (can’t remember which offhand) but he is awful and is still coasting on his past reputation. There were at least a couple points in the game he deserved to get pulled & benched, and I’m not even referring to his weak penalty call.

We won, so whatever, but this coming off-season they badly need to replace him. My fear is they’ll merely agree to a pay cut. He should be off the field altogether.

Yes.  They are aware, fast and they really hit.  The entire defense is showing a high energy level all game long.  Lots of us broke balls about "All Gas, No Brakes" but now that is what we are seeing.  Full throttle for 4 quarters.

The 9ers D that gave up 28 to a Marcus Mariota led Falcons team?

he was 13-14 for 129 yds and 2 TDs!
