And why should Moore be cool with that?  He's in year 2 of a 4-year rookie deal.  None of this is going to be particularly helpful for him from a career advancement perspective.

I just don't really understand the strong reaction to this.  He's pissed and he should be.  The only thing he did wrong was make this frustration public.

The thing he did wrong was failing to get open

We got our assess kicked in week 3 and haven’t lost since.

There's room for the Jets to win AND for Elijah Moore to get a few passes thrown his way, you know.  Either he's part of this offense or he's not.  He was drafted when the Saleh regime arrived.  He wasn't a prior coaching staff holdover like Mims.  You would think he's part of their plans.

Maybe the Saleh coaching style is tough love with not too much love. It will be interesting to see if he gets the Mims treatment for popping off or whatever. He's better than Mims a more reliable player so chances are they'll incorporate him more into the offense. Basically these mid season trades don't usually bring a lot of return mostly 6th or 7th round draft picks and he's a lot better than that.

Tyreek Hill, Stefon Diggs, Davante Adams, and AJ Brown all shot their way out of teams that were winning exponentially more than the Jets. Does anyone think those guys were soft, pussy losers?

LOL Wut??

None of those guys shot their way out of town.  They were all traded on the verge of free agency and their teams were cap strapped.

Other than that, how was the play, Mrs. Lincoln?

If he didn't take it public but some "insider" reported that Moore is frustrated, do you really think this thread reads any differently?

JNers are pissed that he's frustrated at all while the team is winning.  Not so much that he tweeted about it.

What does Moore have in common with any of those players?
Serious question, how the F can anyone defend Moore to the degree you are, twisting every which way to blame ZW, when his issue is clearly with LaFleur and the CS.

I mean, sure.

But when you cry like a bitch on Twitter and then demand a trade after 3 games of getting fewer touches, 3 games that the team you supposedly like won, it sort of makes it look like you don’t give a sh*t about winning.

What Joe Douglas should do is trade him to the Bears - then let him tweet about God and how many more touches he’s getting in that offense.

Every one of their teams extended contract offers to them and they all refused. Every one of those teams said they had the best contract offer.

Letting other teams know that he wants out is the only possible way for Elijah to get traded by the trade deadline. It is still a small probability but significantly increased due to making this public.

I doubt the Jets would have proactively shopped him.

How it’s gone down has gotten a lot fans in their feelings but the trade deadline is the most important piece on the timing of this escalation  (not one game in GB)

How is this LaFleur’s problem?

And also after establishing themselves as elite NFL WRs

not one of Shane’s better arguments

They threw 18 passes against the Packers!!! Moore isnt a slot guy now because he runs soft routes and isnt a bulldog after the catch. Now you're getting a glimpse into is mindset. He's 5'10...5'10 guys in the league are tough. Look at Samuel, Lockett. Back to guys like Edelman, Steve Smith etc. Moore isnt that right now. Berrios while less talented is tough as nails and plays specials.

He still hasn’t done anything close to justifying this sort of behavior. He’s going to get killed in the media for this and rightfully so.

What you already see in the media is the Jets beat writing “wow how dare Elijah Moore” and the national press writing “Top Three Teams That Should Try To Trade For Elijah Moore.” Nobody, and I mean NOBODY in the national press is going to feel bad for the Jets in this situation.
