Torn ACL for Breece Hall

Well the meniscus is not a huge deal. If there was also LCL or PCL involvement it could be worse. ACL surgery improves every day. There is a good chance that he can get back to 100% for next year but it is exactly what we did not want to hear. He was right on the verge of being "that guy".

I think the Jets can still be OK. Since they simplified the secondary and went more to man with Reed and Sauce and simplified pass off zone, our defense has been elite.

I think Zach can be the 4th quarter Pittsburgh guy more consistently.

I am not going to lose hope. This could unify the team even more as well. One thing for sure is this team is not the SOJ and very very resilient.

Yep this sucks, no question, Hall is going to be a stud for a long time...  Just in time for next year's SB run.

Until then Zach gets his opportunity to develop and expand the base of his progress so far...

It will also test the coaching staff, Saleh has a lot to work with to galvanize this team, this year, use this as a motivator, to pull the team closer together, and see what kind of run they can make this year.

I still think we make a small move, but roll with Carter.

Bottomline, this team has taken massive strides forward this year already, a year NOBODY thought we would be in any kind of position to make a playoff run, and here we are!

Next man up!

Why would LV give up a player currently in Beast Mode? He can be FT next year for $11m.... not happening.

Rhetorical question or not...

This is the highest his trade value has been, ever. They refused to pick up his 5th year option. Also Raiders are 2-4. I wouldn't say not happening, I'm not sure they wouldn't pick up the phone if team were calling.

I think that was the most brutal moment for me as a Jets fan.  Losing Breece Hall is awful but I think we can still win.

Can’t speak for you but I was a teenager then and still deep down believed in magical thinking when it came to sports

If you are the Jets, do you sit Breece for next season to limit chance of reoccurring knee issues? Just seeing how the injury impacted other star running backs, I think there should be no reason to rush Breece back.

In the NBA, their star players sit out the remaining of the season and the whole following season when it comes to ACL injuries.

I hate that it happened to Hall, a great guy with superb talent, he was a risk to hit the house every time he touched the ball. I hope he comes back at full strength and speed next year. His loss will have a multiplier effect until MC and friends can demonstrate they can do the job.

That said, we need some OL help, that would make life easier. AVT, come back, Fant, come back, TE's step up.
