Jets season is done

Recommended Posts

The season is not over at all. DO NOT TRADE FOR A RB. RBBC. Cater + Knight + Johnson. Period. If you really want to trade, then you trade for an olineman. Doing that could solidify the running game.

The oline is in shambles. Running game can be affected. Then,  adjust the passing game to consecutive 3 to 4 yards quick outs to Berrios and Moore.

Not done just focus has shifted to open it up wide for the QB. Sink or swim time.

It's a blessing in disguise.

Don't forget, Zach had the champs beat last year with a lesser defense and a worse supporting cast.  Maybe it's time they took the training wheels off and start a baptism of fire?

Disagree it’s a blessing but it does force the coaching staff to begin looking for answers rather than try to ignore the questions around the QB

Poor choice of words.

But it may be the best thing for the franchise long term if it accelerates the QB question.

Which game are you referring to?

EDIT:

Must be Tampa Bay.

Seems to me they lost a guard/rt and a rb. Both positions, I’ve been told, are not of high value. In fact, both players were acquired through trade ups that had many here claiming were not of proper value.

IOW, next man up for the team, and buck up buttercup for the fans.

Nah dog, not at all.  Lots of season left.  Hall and AVT went out early, the Jets fell behind to the Broncos, fought through adversity and won the game, without arguably their 2 best players on offense.

Carter is a dog and will step up.  You cant replace an AVT but they have options at RT when Fant/Mitchell get healthy, the OL will be fine.  They still have a lot of talent on that line.

The D is still nasty, aint nothing changed.

It really depends on how good our D truly is. If the D can stop Minny, Seattle, Pats, Miami (look wha the Steelers did), we have a shot to still be relevant in December.

LaFluer is going to have to find a way to let ZW throw effectively - he needs to be able to throw downfield so teams don't stack the box. It is hard, we lost 2 OL and our bet offensive weapon for the season. But, this team has shown grit - lets see how the next few weeks pan out.

Huge silver lining. Sucks losing Breeeast and AVT, but now we get to see if Wilson is capable or not. Time to take of the kid gloves and let err rip, just gotta hope they can keep him upright long enough to try

As long as the defense is healthy, we are dangerous.  If Zach ever has a nice game, we will be tough to beat.  The loss of Hall and Vera Tucker are devastating but we have  some depth.  carter, Johnson and Knight will hold up their end.  Hopefully, the O-line will hold up until Fant and Mitchell can get back.

The last 5 games are all winnable.  This season is far from over, but we will need Zach to play his part.

Hey, guess what? Other teams had running backs that they were willing to trade! And not just scrubs either!

No disrespect to Hall, but of all the positions to lose to injury, RB is probably the one to worry about least.

Next man up! Welcome to the Jets, James Robinson.

Have been on the Jets bus for a very long time. Have no intention of getting off any time soon. This team has more depth and talent than many teams in a long time. Stay on board see where it takes us fans just might surprise us. Not looking at this situation with blind faith just optimism. When tough times happen winners look within, I believe this team as built has this ability.
