NY Jets Injury Report

Wide receiver Corey Davis will be out again on Sunday with his sprained knee. Head coach Robert Saleh said Davis should return after the bye week.  Here is the update Saleh gave about how Mims is making most of the opportunity he has received.

His attitude has been awesome. I feel like three weeks ago, something flipped. From his daily approach to coachability, all of it has really amplified for him. He’s really taking the bull by the horns and really showing a lot of maturity, not that he wasn’t mature before. Really like where he is mentally, like his mindset. So, hopefully he continues to grow.

The sad part of injuries is that you’re not playing. The good part is that it gives somebody a chance to step up. All you can ask for is to have the door open — just a crack. Then, it’s the individuals job to blow it open. He did a nice job last week, and he has another opportunity to do it this week.

Duane Brown, Lamarcus Joyner, C.J. Uzomah and Nate Herbig were all limited earlier in the week but participated fully in practice on Friday.

For the Bills, Safety Jordan Poyer is out and Tackle Spencer Brown and Linebacker Matt Milano are both questionable.

I thought Saleh said he could have gone back in the Green Bay game if needed and now he misses the next 2 games and SHOULD be ready after the bye. I mean WTF?

he's had these "lower body" soft tissue type injuries every year. will miss 3-4 games/weeks.

yes they did say he could have gone back in GB but C Davis gotta watch out for C Davis.

Its okay, let Mims show he can perform so we don't have this guy on the team next year.

Should be noted that James Robinson—the guy we got to replace Breece Hall—was pissed that the Jags said he had a sore knee, implied they were lying about it, and is now out with a knee injury. Two straight Jags coaching staffs threw Robinson onto the bench despite him being a relatively productive back. If he’s not the goods and that hole left by Breece Hall remains a crater, that’s serious problems for the Jets

Getting the sneaking suspicion that a month from now, Robinson will be at like 85 rushing yards and three DNPs and we’ll all be wondering wha happen

Davis misses time every year

Surprised nobody wanted D’Ernest Johnson

Guy is making nothing and showed he’s a pretty good back, just he’s buried behind Chubb and Hunt

I thought for sure the Browns were gonna trade Hunt prior to the trade deadline, thus giving D'Ernest a good opportunity as the RB2.

I guess they figured they'd stand pat with Watson coming back Week 13.
