cjsaus44
Been thinking about this all week, but very worried about Diggs in this game. If the Jets expect put Sauce on him without any help, I think he has his worst game as a pro, and certainly gets scored on this week. Diggs is too shifty AND fast for him. Sauce had a decent game agains the cheetah, but Hill was also nursing a leg injury all week before that game. Plus…the guy throwing the ball is not even on the same planet as Josh Allen. I think Sauce has had a bunch of good games but a lot of plays that went his way without getting called for PI, or not seeing the ball and luckily getting a hand on it. Overall, he may be a tad overrated. Today will be telling, hopefully I’m wrong. 1 9 2 4 3

FootballLove
Hopefully, you are wrong. Josh will test Sauce early and often. But he's testing our WHOLE defense, not just Sauce. Our front 4 will get to him faster than any front 4 he's faced to date. If he hits Diggs, it will be while he's scrambling, not sitting in a clean pocket. But, like all our games, this game will come down to how the refs call the game. A lot of tikky tack PI calls on Reed/Sauce giving Josh 40-50 yards for free will be devastating. But if the refs let them play then our defense has the ability to win the game. At least on defense.

That's why I said special teams would probably not have their worst game. They are normally pretty good, and that game was probably a fluke. Hope to see some exciting ST plays

maury77
I hope you're wrong, but I can certainly forgive a bad game against Diggs given how Sauce has played so far this year. Even Revis had a couple of meh games against Stevie Johnson.

T0mShane
Big game for my bet with @derp. I bet that Ekwonu will have a better pass blocking grade on PFF than Sauce will have in coverage. Ekwonu got milked in his first game against Myles Garrett, but is putting up dominant grades the past few weeks. Currently stands at Ekwonu: 69.2 vs Sauce 86.9.

Overall, he may be a tad overrated. Today will be telling, hopefully I’m wrong. LOL Sauce is not 'overrated'. Lets just start there. He's a freaking rookie at a position which typically takes time to learn to play at a high level in the NFL. The way he's been playing so far is mind-boggling, all things considering. Could he have a tough day against Diggs if he gets no help? OF COURSE. Most #1 vet CBs have off days against Diggs. He is the definition of a professional receiver. He has fantastic hands and can run any route with precision. He's one of the best WRs in the league. I'm guessing even if Sauce has his worst game against Diggs, it still won't be a terrible game when you compare it to what Diggs has done to some NFL vets in the past. BTW- I'm guessing the Jets keep Sauce and Reed on their respective sides. Sauce will not be exclusively on Diggs. It will depend on where Diggs lines up and I'm guessing the Bills will move him around. 3

Rangers9
I don’t know what their plan is to cover Diggs. But no single CB in the NFL can adequately cover him. Sauce is pretty good on end zone coverage where Diggs excels. If the Jets can hold Diggs without getting a red zone TD they’re doing a good job.

thebuzzardman
I hope so. I have Diggs in my fantasy football league, holding on to first place and facing the 2nd place team today. So, if Jets win, I'm happy If Jets get destroyed by Allen (have him as well) and Diggs, I'm happy. What will happen: Jets will lose and Allen and Digs have subpar games.
Rangers9
It’s also all about the zebras. You know Sauce will be all over Diggs esp in the end zone. They don’t always call it Sauce although a rookie has a rep and that helps him with refs calling PI. They could call it on every play. jamesr
4 catches for 60 yards could probably qualify as Sauce's "worst game". Oddly it would also be Diggs' worst game too. 1

I hope we all can temper the meltdown on JN a bit. The Bills are really, really good. The Jets are growing and building. The team is still in a rebuild, not that we shouldn't push hard for the playoffs, but the Bills are a complete team with a top tier QB.
65 Toss Power Trap
In a sense, this might be his best game from a sense of realizing where he has come, what he is right now, and what he needs to tweak. I don't see him laying an egg. He wasn't perfect against Bengals/Dolphins/Broncos/etc., but he held his own. Those are pretty good receivers. No doubt Allen will challenge him though. JTJet
Wow what a weak prediction. Sauce has 8 stellar games, and he is facing by far his toughest matchup, so even if he has a bad game by his standards, you would technically be correct. That's weak...sauce.
