You're presuming he goes to jail. He donated lots of money to people who can, and do make legal issues disappear. People who you can probably presume don't want him testifying on the stand about what they knew.

IRS is about to break everyone's balls about failing to file a 1099 if you pay a vendor more than $600. This kid despite defrauding people of billions is right now not only free but scheduled to speak at some BS New York Times conference this week. It's like the rules don't apply if you're connected with the powers that be. Especially so if you line the right pockets. After all, it's a free market, right?

And yet some people think they're going after the ultra rich with those 87,000 new agents as if they need so many to go after the relatively few ultra rich people using legal loopholes. The free market isn't the issue; human nature is. The people who pursue power are the ones often least capable of wielding it. They know they've reached critical mass with enough mindless drones who blindly vote so they don't care how obvious they are anymore. You're quote of Nancy being a perfect example. It's blatant insider trading, and they just brush it off. They selectively choose who to destroy, but they're nothing more than hypocrites.

DoJ arrests this guy the day before he was about to testify before Congress and make a mess of statements that would be under oath and admissible to a Grand Jury and at trial whether he were to take the stand or not. And give DoJ a mess of discovery they otherwise would not get. Now he has an attorney who unless he wants to be disbarred will put a cork in his mouth immediately. That makes no sense and  has never happened.
